The Start@Shea x Boston Bruins Case competition was a 3 round competition available to all Boston College students in November 2021. The 21 teams that participated attended a learning workshop and were presented with the following prompt:

"Recently, many major brands, leagues, teams, athletes and others in the sports industry have begun to use blockchain technology in creative and unique ways to drive their business, specifically through the use of non-fungible tokens or digital collectibles. Bearing in mind best practices from across the sports industry, how should the Boston Bruins use this same technology to enhance its business (drive revenue, fan engagement, etc.)?"  

The first round required the submission of an executive summary. The second and third rounds each consisted of 10 minutes of presenting in front of a panel of judges from the Boston Bruins with 5 minutes of questions.
